Great alternative to nail clippers. It took a little training, but now my dog uses the scratch board regularly. The pro tips included were super helpful. Only wish it came in more colors.

I put the strongest smelling treat in the box and she scratches it great. She is able to open it herself as a reward and gets the treat. It’s very sturdy and the scratch pad lasts a good while. This helps a lot with filing her nails I’m not able to clip them myself due to her anxiety

Bruno and Coco's Premium Scratch Board is a lifesaver! Nail trimming was always stressful for my dog, Max, but this scratch pad changed everything. I began training by hiding his favorite treats under a cloth draped over the board. Max sniffed them out and started pawing at the cloth. Every time he touched the board, I praised him and gave him a treat from the built-in drawer. Gradually, I removed the cloth and lifted the board to a 45° angle. This encouraged him to extend his paw and scratch more. Within a few days, Max was confidently using the scratch board on his own. His nails are now neatly trimmed without any fuss. The product is durable, safe for his paws, and the treat box keeps him motivated. I highly recommend this to any dog owner looking for a stress-free nail care solution!

The concept it great but I feel like to train them to open the door is a hit or miss. If you’re looking to get a nail trim from this and that alone, then this is a great product for you. Only complains I have is the little pieces holding the “door” closed are very flimsy and loose so next thing I know it’s coming undone and he’s able to get into the treats easily. Another complain is I wish I could get the replacements on here too. When you buy the set it comes with two extra sandpapers. Two replacements for the door and two for the whole board but my dog has already ripped through the one and I need more replacements for the door than anything

2nd day, my dog was scratching his nails to earn treats. It was fast an easy to train him for this. Patience needed.
